Report: Purchasers of Warborne Above Ashes Seekers Pack May Not Be Getting Access To The PTS
A “configuration error” has thrown a spanner in the works.
It seems there may be some bad news for those who bought the Seekers Founder’s pack for the PvP strategy game Warborne Above Ashes regarding access to the public test server. A “configuration error” in the Seeker pack purchase is resulting in access to the PTS being limited.
What this means, according to a report on Massively, is that while some players will gain access to the server, the Qooland doesn’t have enough Steam keys for everyone and, despite working to get more, will be doing random drawings to determine who will actually get access. Those keys should have been handed out by today. Those who didn’t receive them will receive compensation in the form of character unlock currency.
Obviously, players aren’t going to be pleased with this, but according to the post on Massively, they haven’t taken it nearly a badly as they could have. That said, this is based on the activity in the game’s Discord channel, where a few disgruntled people announced they uninstalled the game and a few others complained but most went on about normal business. The true test will likely be what the player numbers look like going forward.
