Riot Will Be Disabling "/All" Chat In League Of Legends
Don't worry, you can still chat with your team and get called a loser by the opposing team in the End of Game chat.
Riot Games has been looking at addressing toxicity in League of Legends and all of its other titles for a while now as they've noticed things becoming more toxic throughout 2021 based on player feedback...particularly verbal abuse reports.
To attempt to mitigate some of this, in update 11.21, Riot will be removing the ability to chat via the /all channel during matches. You'll still be able to team chat (and Riot recognizes that team chat can be just as toxic but says this is outweighed by the need to communicate to your team) but you'll have to wait until the End of Game screen if you want to ask an opponent where they got a certain skin.
Emotes, champ mastery, and CTRL+1/2/3/4 spam will still be visible to all players unless muted.
Not everyone will like this decision, so let us know where you stand on it below!
