Riot Announces Closed Beta Launch For League Of Legends-Based Fighting Game, 2XKO, With New Champion Vi
You can sign up now.
Riot Games has announced that the 2XKO Closed Beta will launch globally on September 9 via PC.
This is the first time the upcoming free-to-play fighting game remains continuously online beyond testing, save for necessary maintenance. The beta will have cross-platform eventually, allowing players to carry progress to consoles once they become available.
Players can sign up for the beta through the official website. Those who participated in Alpha Lab 1 or 2 on PC — or on console during previous tests — will automatically gain access through the Riot Client.
The beta also introduces a new champion, Vi, known as the Piltover Enforcer — who brings her hextech gauntlets to the fight. She’ll be playable in the beta and at Evo 2025, where 2XKO will have a booth featuring demos, livestreams, and giveaways from August 1 – 3.
In case you weren't aware, 2XKO features characters from the League of Legends universe. So far we got Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, and Yasuo (in addition to the newly introduced Vi).
