Slowing New Rogue Releases, Rogue Company Announces “Project Saint” An Initiative Focusing On Quality Of Life Improvements
The initiative is intended to address many of the things players have been asking for.
With the shift to the new year, First Watch Games and Hi-Rez are shifting their focus on Rogue Company’s development just a bit. Where last year the focus was introducing new content, this year the focus is going to be on quality of life changes and bug fixes asked for by players. It’s important to note that the devs are not shooting for a quick-fix to all the players’ requests and concerns. Instead, they note that it will be a multi-month effort and will focus mainly on “heavily requested features”. Said features include things like human backfill, map voting, bigger maps, mode updates, and ranked improvements – among other things.
The first batch of Project Saint changes has already been implemented along with the Glimpse update. They include the addition of a new passive for Vy, a player blocking system, improved armor visibility in the game’s UI, and more.
Project Saint is our ongoing initiative to improve the overall health of Rogue Company and address problems the community has brought to our attention.

In addition to Project Saint, the new update does add new content. If you were worried First Watch was going to completely scrap that in favor of the new initiative, don’t. In this case, the new content includes the new Rogue, Glimpse. Genetically modified and on the run from the facility where she was held, Glimpse uses a stolen cloaking technology to remain hidden. Weapons-wise, she tends to prefer assault rifles and SMGs but is also happy to use smoke grenades.
