Secret World Legend's Action Combat Spotlight Video
Yesterday, Funcom dropped a tiny look at how Secret World Legends' new combat would work on Twitter, highlighting the Pistol's Chamber Roulette system in particular. Today, they offered a slightly more in depth look at the game's new combat system, giving players an idea of what the combat mechanics for swords, elemental magic, and shotguns will be like.
Lead System Designer Andrew Ryker and Game Director Romain Amiel offer a brief explanation of how combat in Secret World Legends differs from that in the game's predecessor, The Secret World. In general they point to the game's reticle based combat, the ability to adjust it to your comfort and the fact that it makes the game a bit more like a third person FPS or action RPG.
