Sign-Ups Are Open For Netmarble’s Monster-Taming ARPG, Mongil: Star Dive
Would-be players also have a chance to win real-world prices during the recruitment event celebration.
Netmarble’s upcoming monster-taming action RPG, Mongil: Star Dive, has entered the closed beta testing phase. The developer is now taking signups via the game’s site with the intention of launching the test on June 20.
A new trailer for the 3D anime-styled game, featuring what may be the cutest mascot for an anime game yet, was shared at Summer Game Fest. It seems that the cute mascot, named Nyanners, is also how players will capture monsters. (That’s a bit different from the ball-throwing mechanic we all know.) This capturing can be seen in action in the video. I’m assuming it’s the part where Nyanners looks like he’s pulling a Kirby move.
To celebrate the game’s move into CBT, Netmarble is hosting a Recruitment Celebration event. This is a social media event, specifically on Twitter. Those interested in participating will need to retweet the post shared on the announcement page on the game’s site. Those who participate have a chance to win a ROG Ally X handheld platform or a $30 Amazon gift card.
