Skull And Bones Details Open Beta And What Will Carry Over To The Live Game
Here's what you need to know.
Skull and Bones is heading into its open beta on February 8th through the 11th, and with it comes a fair amount of content for players to explore.
Skull and Bones players can play without limits up to Infamy Brigand (Tier 6 Rank 1), and upon reaching this tier can continue exploring the world. Your progress will carry over to the live game up to Tier 6 Rank 1. Any rewards you unlock during your open beta journeys will also carry over to the live game.
Access is open to everyone on PC via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store, or on PS5 and Xbox X|S. Players can preload on February 6th. Cross-play and cross-progression will be enabled.
An entirely new area will be available to explore in the Skull and Bones open beta. The East Indies will be available to players who have established their reputation with the Red Isle and Coast of Africa. The East Indies content should be more challenging to players who have pillaged the previous areas successfully.
Skull and Bones open beta participation rewards include the "Basilisk I" Culverin, ship cosmetics, a lemur pet, and the Sign Language emote. Players can also watch their favorite Twitch streamers to unlock the Snow Leopard ship pet by watching for 1 hour on streams with the "Drops Enabled" tag.
