Smite Unleashes “Yokai of Despair”, Letting Loose A Gigantic Skeleton Whale Yokai
It’s time to meet the whale god, Bake Kujira.
A new god – or in this case, yokai – had been introduced to the Japanese pantheon in Smite. Bake Kujira, a gigantic skeleton whale yokai, is the bringer of a curse. Even in the MOBA, he brings despair. The yokai floats around cursing his enemies and wearing them down. He’s even able to mess with time.
Bake Kujira is a Guardian but designed to be played as a Solo Laner. His abilities are focused on basic attacks, hitting all enemies in a circular area like a puddle of water. He can also power them in various ways.
The update also brings back the Smite x Vshojo crossover. Once again, the Vshojo Vtubers are back as playable characters. Even more, three of the original group have new variant skins.
Finally, the Smite Cookout event introduces three new theme skins and the Food Fight Chest. It’s a little bit of summer in the middle of winter.
