Smite’s Titan Of The Cosmos Update Is Now Live, Take Control Of A Titan For The First Time
Atlas officially enters the Battleground of the Gods.
Smite’s first playable Titan, Atlas, has made his way to the Battleground of the Gods. Revealed back in November, Atlas is the focus of the Titan of the Cosmos update, which also kicks off the annual Yulefest event – which mostly consists of sales in the game’s store, but also offers a couple of reward skins.
As for Atlas, Titan Forge Games offered up information on him not too long ago. He’s the first Titan to come to the game as a playable character – although obviously not the first Titan in the game. He’s somewhat bigger than the other gods and wields an Astrolabe as his primary weapon. It can absorb energy during combat that can then be used for attacks or other abilities – such as pulling enemies into it and launching them in a chosen direction. Of course, it can simply be thrown too.
In addition to the new character addition and the Yulefest event, this update also makes several quality of life adjustments. It adds a new mode to custom games, fixes leaderboard issues, and more. The entire list of changes is available in the patch notes.
