Space MMO Starbase Updates Its Roadmap Citing Thorough Testing
But, A few things have been pushed back.
Starbase, that voxel-y space exploration, building MMO that you’ve seen people talking about lately, is going to have a few features arriving a little later than expected. The game’s developer, Frozenbyte, published an update on their Steam page today, announcing the delay of a few of the game’s upcoming features.
The good news is, none of them appear to be major delays, a month to two months at most. Two of these features, Moon Bases & Mining and Capital Ships, were originally intended to arrive this month. Now, players can expect Moonbases & Mining in September and Capital Ships in October. The other two features, Social Tools for companies and Station Siege, were both planned for September. These have been pushed back to October and November respectively.
The developer has pushed these features back in order to ensure they’ve been tested as thoroughly as possible. So, the good news is that once they do arrive they (hopefully) shouldn’t break the game.
