V4 Reaper Launch

Sharpen your scythes and hit the battlefield, because the Reaper has arrived in Nexon’s cross-platform MMO V4. This new mid-range DPS class arrived in the game’s latest patch and is unique in that they use two weapons – thanks to having a weapon that transforms. This means that players will use either a lance or a scythe in combat, depending on the skills being used.

In addition to the new class, the update also adds a new Skill Mastery system that allows players to develop their skills using skillbooks. As they raise skill mastery levels, skill attacks will increase. To unlock actual Skill Mastery, players will need to reach level 20 in more than one of each grade’s active skills.

Speaking of skills, the update also adds Legendary Class Skills to all of the game’s classes. To obtain these, players will need to head to the Land of Evenfall.

Of course, it wouldn’t really be a shiny new update without some events and there are definitely some events. Of course, some of them are your basic login reward events. Which, hey… Free stuff for just logging in and playing. There are also some events offering players rewards for spending certain amounts of money, ranging from a dollar to $300. (I mean… If you’re spending money anyway… Sure…) There are also some guild events and, and…of course, several events related to the Reaper. These include a leveling up event rewarding players with chests for every five or ten levels they achieve, a Quick Growth event, and the Reaper Update Celebration Mission Event. This last one rewards players with several different types of chests for completing missions. The full rundown on all the events can be found on the V4 site.
