Square Enix Announces Details for Final Fantasy Fan Festival Contests
Gets your art, videos, and cosplay ready.
As we draw closer to the Final Fantasy Fan Festival, Square Enix is ready to begin accepting entries from the more creative of its fans for three different contents. That’s right, the art contest, video contest, and cosplay contests are underway. Beginning today, players can start submitting their entries.
Each contest has its own writeup detailing how players can submit their works, how they will be judged, and what kinds of prizes are available for each. In the case of the video and art contest, players will be able to submit their work online for review and they will have until May 31 to do so. The rewards are the same for both of these contests as well, and even include a couple of real-world items as well as in-game ones.
The cosplay competition, however, will accept entries until June 30. The trick here is that anyone who enters must be attending the convention in person – so their work can be seen. They’ll also need to be sure to follow the contest guidelines, which are detailed on the contest page. Interestingly, awards have not been listed on the cosplay page. Though, players will be able to choose one of eight in-game items, provided they’ve registered and checked in at the counter. Perhaps prizes will be announced at a later time.
