Star Trek Online Reflections Of Empire Event

Star Trek Online is spending a good bit of time in the Mirror universe lately. And, why not? It’s an interesting – if somewhat disturbing – place. Everyone’s their exact opposite and you can always tell by their choice in fashion and facial hair. Stylish goatees aside, Cryptic has decided it’s time to celebrate the long and storied history of Star Trek’s Mirror Universe with the Reflections of Empire multi-TFO event. If you’re a Janeway fan, this one’s for you, because the reward waiting for you at the end is a new Holographic Janeway bridge officer.

This event also counts toward progress on the event campaign grand prize items. For those that don’t remember, those consist of the Tier 6 Infinity Promotional Ship, two T6 Zen Store Ship Coupons, of 1500 Lobi.

During the Reflections of Empire event, players will be able to earn 50 Event Campaign Progress toward the full Event Campaign each day, as well as the prize for the current event. To earn the Holographic Janeway Bridge officer, a total of 14 days progress is needed. Players will also receive 8 Terran Empire Agony Phaser Weapon Packs and 3 Ultimate Tech Upgrades. Once the reward is claimed, players can continue to take part in the event and earn Dilithium Ore for their efforts.

The Reflections of Empire event kicks off tomorrow at 8 am Pacific and will last until April 7 at 10 am Pacific. Once the event comes to an end, players will no longer be able to earn progress points. However, the points earned will be retained and players will have the option to buy the rewards through a new “Second Chance” interface.

On a less-than-exciting note, console players are having to wait a while longer for Shadow’s Advance. The update was intended to launch yesterday. However, a rather large technical issue forced the developers to make a new build. As of an hour ago, it’s passed through QA and with any luck, there should be good news soon.
