Star Wars The Old Republic PTS

Get ready, because Star Wars: The Old Republic will be launching its 64-bit client on the live servers. But first! One more round of testing. The new client will be part of the 7.2.1 update and will be taking a run on the Public Test Server first.

When 7.2.1 goes live, it will kick off a new Galactic Season – A Passage of Peace. The new season means new rewards and a new companion named Amity. A huge reward this season will be the introduction of the ability to use Galactic Seasons Tokens to purchase a new apartment Stronghold on Mek-sha. The update will also make adjustments to the game’s credit economy in order to combat inflation, and as mentioned above be the official drop of the 64-bit client.

So, what can players expect on the PTS? Well, they’ll be earning Attacker and Defender points in the Alderaan Warzone, trying out the new client, testing the credit cost changes, and fighting the devs in PvP matches. Those matches will take place Friday, February 10. Players who want to participate in this round of testing simply need to log onto the PTS. Those who do that and complete a Warzone match will be rewarded with an Opal Vulptilla Mount – to be delivered at the official launch of the update.
