The world is crazy about The Force Awakens this week, so it only makes sense that a game tied into the Star Wars franchise would be doing something special for all those people who obviously love the universe. After all, you are playing the game.

The Star Wars: The Old Republic team has a lot on its plate, running everything from the annual Life Day event to a bounty contract week to the double experience event. The full list of the free-to-play game’s events this month are as follows:

  • Relics of the Gree Event: December 8 – December 15
  • Life Day Event: December 15 – January 5
  • New Cartel Market Life Day Items: December 15 – January 5
  • Rakghoul Plague Outbreak on Tatooine: December 15 – 22
  • Double XP Event: December 18 – January 1
  • Bounty Contract Week: December 22 – December 29

The double XP event kicks off Friday, December 18 and will run until January 1, giving players plenty of time to get in those levels… and all in time for The Force Awakens. Full details on all the events are available on the SWTOR blog.

I like it and I am sure the other million or so people playing it like it, too. It must suck going through life being so cynical and overly critical about everything.

You’re complaining about b2p, so basically you hate every single mmo in existence. I mean we can just take the subscription out and have the game not make money and die I guess since you think ftp players should have everything.
