Update 7.7d for Star Wars: The Old Republic delivers a wide array of fixes and improvements across several core gameplay systems for the MMORPG.

General changes include smoother mount summoning without glitchy animations, restored Guild Contributor leaderboards, and proper volume playback for cinematic trailers. Additionally, several visual corrections were made to character customization, especially for Cathar NPCs and characters with Dark Side corruption. Furthermore, Dynamic Encounters now track progress on Dromund Kaas and Coruscant toward Pinnacle objectives, and many encounter-specific bugs have been addressed — including enemy wave spawns, shared tagging, visual updates, and quest progression logic fixes.

There’s updates for missions too. These fixes improve companion behavior, mapnotes, respawn timers, idle animations, and tooltip visibility. Specific missions like Whispers in the Force, Old Wounds, and The Wretch King received polish to ensure proper narrative delivery and progression. And when it comes to items and UI, players should no longer get stuck on environmental decorations; preview issues were corrected and the interface’s functionality was improved as well. Also, key decorations also now correctly reflect their sources.

Moreover, combat balance adjustments were made that impact several classes and disciplines. Force abilities for Sorcerers and Sages have increased base costs or longer cooldowns, while damage output has been refined for Lightning and Madness specs. Also, Operatives, Mercenaries, and Commandos got buffs in healing power and damage output. And, Assassin and Shadow passives have been improved for better damage mitigation and output. Last but not least, Galactic Seasons got localization corrections for non-English clients, and the Basilisk Prototype Venture and Daily Areas received fixes to companion unlocks and mission objects.
