Tera’s January Console Update Introduces New 5-Player “Killing Grounds” Dungeon
Dungeon matchmaking has been improved and some have received balance adjustments.
As of today, Tera’s 121.01 update is available on Xbox and PlayStation. The update introduces an intense new dungeon, the “Killing Grounds”. This dungeon features two difficulties: Killing Grounds and Crimson Killing Grounds. The former requires an item level of 750 to enter while the latter needs an iLvL of 880.
In addition to adding the new dungeon, the update also implements balancing changes for Stormed Citadel, Kelsaik’s Raid, and low-level dungeons. This includes tweaks to HP scaling. The developers have also removed Dreadspire and moved its related rewards to Kelasaik’s Raid.
A new update in an MMORPG often means the kick-off of an event. In this case, players can celebrate the new year during the Lucky Puch event, running from now until February 20. The event features enhanced drop rates in group content and offers players a chance to earn pouches filled with gear. Details on the event and the rest of the update are available in the patch notes.
