Season 2 Is Official: “The Depths Of Tharis Island” Is Now Available In The Cycle: Frontier
There's a whole new island to explore, prospectors.
Today Yager released a new update for the free-to-play expansion shooter The Cycle: Frontier, kicking off the game’s second season of competitive content and introducing a new island, Tharis. This island, filled with abandoned ruins, offers players new challenges. There are new dangers to face and new missions to take on. Inside the ruins on the island is an unknown technology that players can use to enhance their gear and make it more powerful. This means that players will be spending a lot of time in the more enclosed spaces of the ruins, rather than fighting in the open. They’ll want to be prepared for close encounters with the enemy.
Full details on the contents of the new update are available in the patch notes.
Of course, a new season means a new pass. An all-new Fortuna Pass is now available, offering players 100 levels worth of rewards, including cosmetics, Aurum, Salvage tokens, and more. There are, of course, two tracks. The free track is mostly weapons and gear. The premium track includes things like weapon skins, emotes, charms, XP boosters, and enough Aurum to purchase the next Fortuna Pass. That last one is provided the player completed the track in the current pass.
