The Elder Scrolls Online's Stibbons Leads Anything But A Boring Manservant Life
His employer has things to say.
When thinking about manservants – not that I’m sure any of us do that much – it would probably be safe to say that the job would be boring at best and filled with abuse from their employer at worst. If the manservant is The Elder Scrolls Online’s Stibbons, it seems things are different. According to a letter sent by his employer, Lady Clarisse Laurent to Lady Arabelle, Stibbons’ life is anything but boring in the MMORPG.
The letter paints him as a loyal servant with good intentions… who manages to stay in trouble more often than not. He’s managed to be possessed by a ghost, captured by Daedra, trapped in an egg, cloned, and more. Some of this may be due to his appreciation of alcohol. Or, it could be the other way around.
Still, despite all of these problems, Lady Laurent continues to find value in his work. It would seem the tea brewing and garment pressing outweigh any negatives he has. Of course, there’s more to it than that, but that’s what the letter is there for, should you want to read it.
