World of Warcraft Dreamsurges

As a new World Tree grows, energies of the Emerald Dream manifest throughout the Dragon Isles. It's up to you and your allies to defeat the chaos brought about by the Druids of the Flame in World of Warcraft.

During the event, one of the original four Dragon Isle zones in the MMORPG will be affected by a Dreamsurge each week. A major Waking Dream portal will open in the affected zone every 30 minutes as a group event. While the Waking Dream portal is open, players in that zone will receive 25% increased leveling experience.

World of Warcraft players can seek out Hamuul Runetotem for the "Surging Dreams" quest, or you can head to the Dreamsurge icon in whichever zone is affected.

Once a Dreamsurge is completed you'll have to throw down with a Flame Lieutenant who, upon defeat, will drop Charred Elemental Remains. Weekly Dreamsurge quests will grant you a Dreamsurge Chrysalis which you can use to purchase Champion gear. Collect Dreamsurge Coalescence during your journeys in affected zones and you can use them to purchase Veteran gear and more.

It all begins September 5th in World of Warcraft.

Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
