24 days till the show kicks off.
The Game Awards 2022 nominees have been announced for the annual showcase going live on December 8 from Los Angeles. Those nominees range from the behemoth IPs heading the "Game of the Year" award like God of War: Ragnarok, to the "Innovation in Accessibility" award on titles paving the way for all types of gamers.
In the case of the primary multiplayer categories, there are quite a lot of the usual suspects we all are familiar with and a few new arrivals from 2022:

Many of these categories list IPs continuing to imprint the industry in various ways (in fact, some categories match or damn near match last year's nominees, like the "Best Community Support" category) and surprise hitters like Marvel Snap and Tower of Fantasy. When the show goes live, you can expect Geoff Keighley to host the event as usual, alongside a selection of game reveals piggybacking on the multiple award ceremonies.
