The Hard Decision Has Been Made On The Future of Spellweaver

In a recent announcement, Spellweaver’s Lead Designer Ivko Stanilov has made the difficult and fateful decision to no longer provide updates for Spellweaver. The designer remains hopeful to one day return, but as of now, the decision is final. It is always with a heavy heart that such decisions are made and of course they weigh heavy on the designers, but the playerbase feels the weight as well. Still, it is rather easy to empathize with Ivko as we can all understand that the pandemic has affected us in ways no one could have predicted.

Despite this final decision, there will be one last balance update to Spellweaver, at least for now. Ivko mentioned once more in his announcement that as promised, Spellweaver will never go offline as long as he has something to say about it.

Now, on to a bit of good news.

Ivko’s friends have started a new game studio and, better yet, they have created a game idea that takes place in the world of Spellweaver. With the potential to draw attention to the Spellweaver IP, Ivko has joined the team for this exciting new title.
