The Worldslayer Content Update Revealed For Outriders
There's lots of new content for characters level 30 and above.
Today, Square Enix revealed a new batch of content for Outriders. Ordinarily, we'd probably call this an expansion or content update. But, it's a bit different than that, as the way they've elected to sell it means it could almost be considered its own game. For that reason, Square Enix has labeled Outriders: Worldslayer an "upgrade".
Players can buy Worldslayer as either a digital content upgrade to their existing game or – if they don’t already have Outriders, as a full game with the original content included. The new content is designed specifically for level 30 characters and includes an entirely new campaign, missions, and a new story. It also introduces a new villain, Ereshkigal. She's 'the First Altered' and commands the human faction known as the Insurgents.
If you haven't played Outriders before and would like to experience this new content, but would rather not take the time to reach level 30, don't stress it. Worldslayer allows players to create a completely new level 30 character. So you can hop right in and start playing.
Both versions of Worldslayer are available for pre-order now. The upgrade costs $40 while the entire package is $80 – although there is a sale going on at the moment on Steam.
