Theorycraft Games Announces That Its MOBA/Battle Royale/Hero Shooter, SUPERVIVE, Has Tripled Its Player Base Since Steam Next Fest
The devs also detail what players can expect going forward.
SUPERVIVE, the MOBA/Battle Royale/Hero Shooter billed by its developer as “The Next 10,000 Hour Game” is still doing pretty well following Steam Next Fest. According to an announcement published by the developer on the game’s Steam page, the player base has tripled since the Fest, accruing more than 1,000,000 players.
To celebrate the milestone, the devs shared a bit about their journey and outlined what players can expect in the future. Currently, the game is in open beta, having entered Early Access on Steam less than a week ago and the devs already have plenty planned, including a special holiday map in December.
The roadmap runs through June of 2025. Although, some bits are teasingly “redacted”. For those looking for an OCE server, the post addresses this as well, noting that “much bigger studios with much bigger games” have had to shutter OCE servers due to small populations. At present, it’s not a risk the developer can take. However, it is something they hope to address in the future.
