Things Get Groovy In Foamstars’ Season 2 Update, Bring Your Disco Outfit

Square Enix’s 4v4 foam party shooter for the PlayStation, Foamstars, is preparing for a new seasonal update. On March 9, Season 2 “Groovy Disco” kicks off bringing with it an all-new character, “Coiff Guy”. Players may recognize him from the Happy FriYAY Party event in Season One. He’ll be available to all players as a Tier 31 reward – or can be purchased from the shop when the season launches.

The new season also introduces new modes and cosmetic content. Some of those cosmetics will be premium, but there are still free ones to earn. New missions have been added as well, offering players more individual stories for the Foamstars characters.

Of course, there will be events available as well. Limited-time events include Ranked Party, Extreme Party, and Happy FriYAY Party. Extreme Party features an All Coiff Guy Party-themed mode that requires players to chill opponent teams as Coiff Guy. These events will roll out at different times.
