Three-Face: Blizzard All-Stars becomes Heroes of the Storm
Blizzard's MOBA has been going through an identity crisis since it was originally announced as Blizzard DOTA back in 2011 at Blizzcon. Around the time of the announcement, League of Legends had begun to hit its stride and Dota 2 was clearly picking up...steam. A legal dispute over the use of the name "DotA" resulted in Blizzard DOTA becoming Blizzard All-Stars, which brings us to today. Blizzard All-Stars has yet again shed its name and rebranded itself as Heroes of the Storm.
Other than the name change, there aren't any new details concerning the MOBA. Currently, the official site only features a comedic cartoon teaser, which is admittedly adorable. Presumably Blizzard intends to reveal more at this year's Blizzcon, but given the developers track record you never know. Like All-Stars, Heroes of the Storm will incorporate iconic characters from all iconic Blizzard universes.
