Throne And Liberty Drops Big List Of Updates Being Implemented In Launch
A dev letter details all the differences between open beta and launch.
NCSoft’s latest MMORPG Throne and Liberty is slated to launch on September 26 (head start). In preparation for that launch, the dev team posted a dev letter on the game’s site discussing the things that they have achieved, as well as what kinds of changes those who experienced open beta can expect when the game enters early access.
Effectively, the letter is a set of launch patch notes with fluff and it details new content, changes to leveling and progression, item updates, and more. It’s a pretty sizeable list.
As far as new content goes, a skill specialization system is being introduced to expand combat. It includes more than 250 specializations across the game’s skills. Fishing is another new introduction, as is cooking, and Amitoi Expeditions. The last thing allows players to send Amitoi (cute little stuffed animal-looking things) out to gather useful items.
As for the rest of the changes, they’re all pretty standard adjustments and additions. The full list can be perused on the Throne and Liberty site ahead of you jumping in.
