Tiffany & Co. Reveals The Redesign For The Official League Of Legends World Championship Trophy
This trophy is truly like no other.
Forget an engagement ring. The new Tiffany & Co. redesigned League of Legends esports crown jewel, The Summoner’s Cup, is far more enticing. “The Summoner’s Cup is a symbol of greatness in esports and the crowning achievement in League of Legends,” says the Global Head of LoL Esports Naz Aleteha.
The LoL and Tiffany & Co. partnership might seem a bit weird to some. However, the famous luxury jeweler actually has a history of producing handcrafted trophies across various professional sports including baseball, basketball, football, and now, esports.
The Trophy was created in Tiffany’s hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island, a location that produces more than 65 trophies each year. Then, after 277 hours of meticulous work, the 44-pound, 27-inch Summoner’s Cup now sits alongside many iconic trophies.
Now all one can do is wait and watch the League of Legends World Championship 2022 to see who will be lucky enough to be awarded this sterling-silver trophy.
