Trion Reveals New RIFT Expansion After Accidentally Leaking It
After accidentally leaking their new RIFT expansion by putting it up for sale before announcing it -- and then quickly removing it from the store -- Trion has officially "revealed" Starfall Prophecy. This is the biggest expansion since before the game went free-to-play.
The expansion is now available for pre-order as either a Standard Edition ($39.99) or Deluxe Edition ($59.99). The expansion introduces 5 new zones as part of the continent Ahnket. These zones will be filled with new dungeons, a new raid, planar assault, new adventures, and fortress seiges. Players can also look forward to a new item rarity and a level increase to 70.
The expansion can be pre-ordered via the game's site. Those looking for some slightly more nifty stuff and willing to throw the extra cash at the game will receive a cool looking Ethereal Drake Mount, Asha Catari's Rainment, and the Ring of Ahnket Portrait Frame.
