Starting this fall, Uncharted Waters Online will cross the great publisher sea, moving away from long time publisher Netmarble and establishing itself under OGPlanet. All player accounts and progress are set to come along for the transition, with no current content having to walk the plank. The move itself was done in an effort to promote further growth of the North American player base.

According to Netmarble, UWO service under the publisher will conclude at the end of November with service resuming under OGPlanet a few days later.

Uncharted Waters Online originally launched in 2005, and based itself around players historically re-living the Age of Exploration during the 15th Century. While naval combat is one the MMOs main draws, there are a variety of non combat oriented classes players can focus on as well, such as Ocean Explorers, Merchants, and even a Folklorist.

Haha i see every1 knows netmarble... i will never forget how they f@cked up Prius those !diots xD
They got pretty "famous" with that Prius deal, i still remember how the forum full of beta testers was raging for days and days during and after beta haha oh man it was hell of a show.
(Btw, mostly those "beta testers" were just gamers who just gamed, those who actually were hunting for bugs and submitting them.. well, let's just say there was very little of us in there, i've put a lot of effort into that and it all gone to f@cking hell thanks to those netmarble assh@les)

PS: But hell.. Prius was a good game that needed a bit of love not a complete f@ckin' overhaul of everything into a bloody screeming mess netmarble made out of it... thanks to them Prius got even more bad reputation and now the game is even less likely to resurface.. sigh~ if it does i hope for the third time it'll be in a good company's hands, amen.
