Undecember Third Episode

Come January 25th, Undecember will launch its first-ever story patch, "Episode III: Ortemis," with a brand-new Challenge Mode, overhauled Chaos Dungeons, Runes, and plenty more.

LINE Games debuted details on the next massive update through an Ortemis teaser trailer and later an announcement video diving deep into upcoming additions/changes.

There is the usual slew of new monsters and bosses to face, but players will also journey to the continent of Traum - the land of the 12 Gods - for Episode III. Players will travel across the medical nation of Ortemis that worship Vesper, the God of disease, as Act 11 focuses squarely on the game's theme of "no such thing as absolute good or absolute evil."

Act 11 features four themes, 24 main stages, and nine sub-stages, with eight new bosses and over 100 types of monsters to clean up. According to the devs, the new Act will span the length of the first five Acts of Undecember. Moreover, there will be over 30 new Runes and in-game events to celebrate the update on January 25th.

Starting from Episode III, a new Challenge Mode that makes Acts "much harder than Normal difficulty" will be available for interested players. It offers a fresh challenge for players who didn't feel like encounters were tough in the Normal maps from earlier Episodes. In addition, it even shapes up as a challenging ordeal for those who farmed through the endgame Chaos Dungeons, putting their abilities and gear to the test.

Lastly, a complete overhaul of the Chaos Dungeons will come on January 25th with increasing difficulty and new gear. That means monster levels are getting increased from level 100 to 120 and features mobs never seen before in the game. Another big part of this overhaul is the Chaos Statue's level reset. The devs aim to keep Chaos Dungeons relevant, so they've decided to reset the Chaos Statue whenever new areas come to the game.
