Cute New Battle Arena Game Smash Legends Launches On Steam
A new, cross-platform battler has arrived on Steam. Smash Legends, a free-to-play battle game with a variety of modes, launched on Steam yesterday. Described by developer 5minlabs as a "casual brawl-action game", Smash Legends takes place on a floating island known as the "Library World".
The game features characters (or Legends) based on children's story characters like Peter Pan, Red Riding Hood, and Alice -- each boasting their own unique abilities. As for modes, players can test their skills in several kinds of 3v3 combat, including point capture or team deathmatch. There's also an eight-player free-for-all battle royale mode, a four-player Harvest mode, and a 1v1 duel mode.
The game is available to play on Steam and mobile platforms with cross-play enabled. According to reviews, it's definitely on the casual side, but people seem to think it's good fun. So, if you're looking for something that's not super serious, this may be just the thing.
