Wil Wheaton Joins The Star Trek Online Universe For The First Time In Ascension
The update is available on PC now.
Sooner or later, Wesley Crusher had to appear in Star Trek Online. You can only spend so much time wandering around the universe without bumping into people you know. Especially if those people are part of Starfleet – or the Terran Empire if you happen to pop into the Mirror Universe. Now, with the release of the Ascension update on PC, he’s finally arrived.
The update adds a new featured episode in which the Terran forces have kidnapped Ilia Decker from Jupiter Station. Players will need to team up with Mirror Leeta to rescue her and figure out why the Empire kidnapped her to begin with. It also adds a new TFO, “Storm Chasers”, that will send players to the Prime Universe. And, of course, there’s the cast. Mary Wiseman and Chase Masterson return and are joined by Wil Wheaton. Full details on the update are available on the Star Trek Online site.
