Wizard101 Is Collaborating With Dungeon Defenders 2 As The MMO Continues Its 16th Anniversary Celebration
Yep, it's official. Wizard101 is old enough to drive...how old does that make you?
Every time a long-running MMORPG hits a milestone birthday I get to feel just a little bit older. This time, it's Wizard101 who gets to hit a milestone. The MMO is now old enough to go and get its driver's license here in the States as their 16th anniversary arrives.
Headmaster Ambrose is looking for the more creative Wizards out there to create. What you create is entirely up to you. It could be a work of art, a short video, a meme, a story you wrote, or any other creative work. The only requirement is that it be based on Ambrose himself or on Ravenwood Academy. Submit your entry via the team's social media accounts.
That contest has been live for a little over a week now, but you're running out of time if you want to make a submission.
In new Wizard101 news, the MMO is launching a collaboration with Dungeon Defenders 2. On the Dungeon Defenders side, the tower-defense game picks up three new piggle variants you can purchase. Baby Piggle, Piggle, and Ravenwood Piggle are the first in-game pets that can have multiple different ability elements.
Wizard101 players can grab their own Propeller Cat pet. Both of these offerings will be available for the next three months. You'll have until January 5th to buy the pets.
Don't forget, Wizard101 recently announced that they'll be making the leap to consoles soon, too.
