World of Warcraft Introduces A New Chat Channel For Advertisement Of Services
Better late than never, right?
Blizzard has recently announced that Patch 9.2.7 will add a new trade chat channel for advertising services like raid and dungeon activities. A feature that should have probably been added a lot time ago.
The trade channel that has been in the game for 18 years will still continue to exist, but now there will be a specific new channel to direct messages about the request and advertisement of services like raiding, dungeons, or even PvP activities. If players are looking to buy or sell these specific services, this is the channel for you. Of course some players may have no interest and, if that’s true, players can leave the channel and avoid all the chaotic noise that it might bring. Or, there is always the option to move the chat into its very own tab. Out of site, out of mind.
Blizzard believes that this new distinction between chats will allow players to keep trade chat for the traditional buying and selling of items and professions, and not other chatters.
