Warships Graphics Update

When your game is about ships, one thing you need to get right is how the water looks. I've played plenty of World of Warships, and always thought the seas and oceans looked fine, but Wargaming didn't agree, leading to today's update, which has brought literal waves of changes to the game's graphics.

The new water simulation system can create much more diverse waves, of any shape and height, which can "gently rock" even the largest of battleships. Don't worry about your aim, though; Wargaming insists that the changes "will not affect gameplay." But will it make me seasick?

Some maps and ports have also received the HD treatment, with all maps expected to see the overhaul in the future. For submariners, underwater vegetation and animal life have also been added on select maps.

In terms of actual gameplay changes, Update 0.10.10 adds six "Superships," ships with alternative combat options that can be played in ranked or co-op battles, and Soviet aircraft carriers are now available for all players to research. Additionally, the "Arms Race" mode returns in temporary fashion; in this mode, captains compete in 12v12 battles with the goal of capturing areas that provide buffs to your entire team throughout the battle.

Complete details for Update 0.10.10 can be found on the World of Warships site -- and don't miss the one day of free premium time you can claim by scrolling to the end of the "Visual Improvements" section!

I re installed this on steam and it totally wiped me out! when i launched the game my sound on the PC was lost on everything. I know a massive amount of how to fix these problems. but this was redunkulas, I couldn't changed it back no matter what I did. restore, you name it. I ended up having to reinstall windows to get my sound back.
so maybe do not try installing and playing this game on STEAM, use the wargaming.net launcher its cleaner and no hassles like I had for... 12 hrs. it got so bad i ended up in the bios. and using dos commands. funny now. but not with the day lost.
PC running faster now :)
