Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Adds Two New Cards To The Ban List Among Other List Changes
A “Toadlly Awesome” Update is on its way.
Konami’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel just announced its new Forbidden and Limited List which will go live on February 6, 2023!
This new update will add two new cards to the banlist, "Toadally Awesome" and "Union Carrier". Toadally Awesome has been a powerful option for some time now, but many believe that Union Carrier has needed to join the Forbidden List since its conception as the card has been a frequent complaint for establishing unfair playing grounds. One comment on the Master Duel's site even said, "Finally Union Carrier is gone. Long overdue."

The update also sees several cards both moving to the Semi-Limited status and being removed from the banlist/ Forbidden List entirely. "There Can Be Only One" will be reduced from three copies to two while others like "Dimension Shifter" and "Conquistador of the Golden Land" will move up. Players that would like to see the full list of cards and where they now fall on the Forbidden and Limited List can do so here.
