Wayfinder’s Early Access launched not even two weeks ago, and lots of improvements are needed. Fortunately, there’s a feedback platform where players can submit suggestions (in addition to bug reports). Visitors can also upvote any points they agree with. So I took the liberty of highlighting the most popular ones, and elaborating a little further on each and what they can help fix in the game.

Movement After Dodge: After a dodge while running, characters should maintain their running pace instead of transitioning to walking mode during combat. This adjustment aims to preserve the flow of combat, as it’s annoying to suddenly slow down, especially in the heat of battle.

UI Cooldowns and Skills Description: Numeric cooldown indicators for skills in the game. This enhancement would simplify tracking skill cooldowns compared to the current system, where cooldowns are represented by a gray area without a specific time.

The "Waitfinder" Title: Awarding players a special "Waitfinder" title who experienced server issues during launch. This is just a cosmetic, which is hilarious (and I concur).

Adding Mission Waypoints to Map: Mission waypoints on both the map screen and minimap. This feature aims to enhance navigation by providing clear visual cues, as right now you open your map and there’s no yellow dots so you have to guess where to go.

Smoothing Combat Mechanics: Improving combat mechanics by allowing jumping and shooting simultaneously. This enhancement would make fighting a lot more fluid, since you can’t currently jump and shoot at the same time.

Fishing: Adding a fishing activity. This feature isn’t necessary but could be a nice way to pass the time in Skylight and strengthen the community’s socialization.

Weapon Dye Cosmetics: Weapon dye customization options. This enhancement would allow players to match their character's appearance with their weapon aesthetics, as only equipment is customizable at the moment.

Party Joining and Instance Joining: The ability to join a friend's instance or server in open-world areas. The suggestion is to provide a more flexible way for players to play together because there’s world bosses that require more than just parties of three.

HUD/Text Scaler: A slider to resize the HUD and text to cater to individual user preferences. This improvement would be fantastic for accessibility if players have trouble reading the text at its current size.

Ping System Enhancement: Implementing a ping system that allows players to place markers on the ground. This feature would improve communication and coordination without a doubt, which is seriously necessary for certain dungeons/bosses.

Customizing Core Skills/Abilities: Allowing players to freely rearrange the four core skills' positions. This quality of life suggestion isn’t exactly detrimental but lets us use our preferred keybindings (beyond what’s already available in the settings).

Larger Party Size: Increasing the party size limit. This feature would be helpful for the open-world, but may provide further complications in dungeons and bosses (which only allow parties of one, two, or three).

Enhancement for Quest Rewards: Tooltips for quest rewards, similar to the functionality available in the inventory. This enhancement would enable players to hover over quest rewards and gain insight into whether or not it’s worth prioritizing (or doing at all).

Personal Loot System: Transition from the current free-for-all loot system to a personal loot system. The suggestion rocks, as it’s not fun when your teammates steal your gold piles.

What do you think of these feedback points? If any resonate with you, be sure to head over to that website page and upvote them. Avenues like this are how the community is able to improve the games that they enjoy.
