343 Industries Is Officially Planning To Add AI To Halo Infinite's Forge Mode
Players will soon be able to spawn and manage campaign AI.
It may have been a rumor once, but it’s part of the plans now. (We’re not going to say fact, because things change and this could end up not becoming an actual thing.) 343 Industries officially plans to add an AI toolkit to Halo Infinite’s Forge mode. The addition is still a bit off. We’re not really sure when it will hit, but we do know that when it does, players will be able to use it to spawn and manage campaign AI in the shooter's Forge.
According to Forge Lead Designer Michael Schorr, the addition will allow players to spawn and manage campaign AI. He notes that “a lot of interesting experiences are going to spring out of that functionality” and that he believes it has the “potential to become a staple of Halo Infinite”.
But, as we said, that’s somewhere in the future. For now, there’s a new Season. Recently, the Halo Infinite team held a live stream discussing that season. It can be viewed below.
