New Co-op Heist Shooter

The developers of the co-op horror shooter GTFO are creating another co-op shooter, only this time with the element of holding a heist. The creative director behind the upcoming project, Ulf Andersson, previously worked on the popular heist game Payday 1 and 2 at Overkill Software before he left to start his own studio, 10 Chambers.

"I’m back on the heist shit, basically – so it’s a heist cooperative FPS, and it has a sort of a techno-thriller theme. I read a lot of sci-fi books, and so imagine everything that cyberpunk is inspired by and a ton of other shit." Andersson said in an interview with NME at Gamescom.

Players shouldn't expect a replica of Payday, Andersson mentioned that he believed that Payday had a ‘massive problem’ in the sense that the action would build and stay at a constant state of play throughout. Perhaps this new game will have more narrative driving the game rather than constant adrenaline-pumping action.
