Albion Online Asia-Pacific Players Are About To Get A Faster Connection With "East" Server
Sandbox Interactive announced an “Albion East” server today.
Here’s some good news for Albion Online players located in the Asia-Pacific region. Today Sandbox Interactive announced the launch of “Albion East” a server dedicated to players in that region. The new server will provide a faster connection for players – who until now have been stuck using servers located elsewhere. Of course, it may mean leaving friends they made behind in order to get that speedier connection, but that’s a choice a lot of online gamers have had to make.
Like its counterpart, the Albion East server will be free-to-play. However, Sandbox Interactive is offering Founder Packs for players on this server that will grant them early access to it, as well as full access to the closed beta for the server in February. The pack will likely sell pretty well as it also offers protection for existing character and guild names in addition to better access and in-game items.
There are other benefits as well, as the server is effectively a fresh-start server. Everything is currently untouched and players start out as equals. Where they go from there, is up to them. It also has the added bonus of having game and server events timed appropriately for the region.
