Announcing An Announcement: Genshin Impact V2.1 Special Program Set For Friday
It's almost time for another Genshin Impact Special Program. Time really flies. It may seem like V2.0 just dropped, but apparently we're just about ready for V2.1. So, of course, that means the Genshin team is going to host another Special program dealing everything players can expect from the upcoming update -- as well as when said update is.
I can't tell you if this Special Program is going to be like the last one we had with all the devs or if the Traveler and friends will be hosting as in streams past, but what I can tell you is when it will be. So, if you're interested in watching, you'll need to tune in either to Twitch or YouTube on Friday. If you go the Twitch route, you'll need to be there at 9:00 Eastern. If you'd rather watch later in the day, the YouTube version will go live at Noon Eastern.
If you can't make either of them but still want the codes and everything, we'll definitely have a writeup here after it's all done.
It should be worth noting that many expect this stream to contain some information about miHoYo's plans for the game's upcoming anniversary. The game will hit its first full year since launch in a little more than a month on September 28.
