Another Palworld Trailer Is Out And We’re Still Confused About How The Pokemon Company Isn’t Mad
The game looks interesting, but some of those characters look so familiar.
Palworld, the “Pokemon with guns and building game” that really does seem to have a lot of Pokemon elements, is still progressing – apparently without any interference from Nintendo or the Pokemon Company. Yesterday, developer Pocketpair dropped yet another trailer showing off some of the gameplay. Among the various game features, like building, combat, flight, and the like, are mechanics and characters that will still look really familiar to Pokemon fans.
Of course, the using a ball to capture creatures thing is there. But that could probably be ignored if the critters didn’t look so much like different Pokemon. Among those shown in the video are critters that look very much like Wooloo, Goondra, Lucario, Sawsbuck, and Minccino. Of course, that’s not the limit. If anything, the video makes for a fun game of “guess which Pokemon this is based on”.
Of course, if you’re interested in the game, it seems like you’re gonna get to try it out. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company don’t seem interested in taking any action against them...yet.
