Apex Legends’ Defiance Update Is Now Live, And You'll Want To Be Logging In This Month
Get ready to spend time with Mad Maggie and celebrate the game’s third anniversary with lots of free login goodies.
Happy update day, Apex Legends fans. Today marks the release of the Defiance patch and the game’s latest Legend, Mad Maggie. It also kicks off the new season, introduces the new Control LTM, and begins the third-anniversary celebration. It seems today’s kind of a big deal for ya.
Of course, we’ve already covered what to expect in this update. Jason wrote up a very nice preview on it. But, I don’t think we’ve gone into detail about what to expect from the anniversary celebration. According to the patch notes, here’s what you can expect. Beginning today and running through February 15, players will receive three Octane thematic packs for logging in. Don’t worry, if you don’t already have him, he’ll be unlocked for you automatically. Then, on February 15, players will unlock three Wattson thematic packs (and Wattson herself if you don’t have her). This will last until February 22. Finally, between February 22 and March 1, players will unlock three Vakyrier thematic packs and a Legendary pack for logging in. Once again, if you don’t have the associated Legend, she will be unlocked for you. Obviously, this will be a good month to be logging in.
