ArcheAge: Unchained Is Giving Up Its Life To Save ArcheAge
It’s time for a server merge.
Things aren’t great for ArcheAge or ArcheAge: Unchained population-wise. According to a post published on the MMORPG's site today, the server population, particularly for Unchained, is just not enough to allow for the game to be played as intended. Technically, ArcheAge is okay but could do with a boost.
That said, Kakao Games has determined that the current server population of ArcheAge: Unchained isn’t enough to keep the game alive on its own. By merging the two of them together, they hope to make PvP and Faction War more active. For those that might be worried that they won’t be able to compete, the devs are working on ways to make those players more competitive.
As for how the mergers will work, the developers are merging all six ArcheAge and ArcheAge: Unchained servers in the EU into a single server. The same is being done for the servers in North America. That means a total of twelve servers across two games will now become two. All the details on the process can be found in the post on the ArcheAge site.

Letting it go is good thing. I think its a far better choice than forever trying to keep a game afloat.
Olden day game devs never had this problem because they completed game developments. Today game development is...fix this, fix that. you don't have this you do not have that thats not like imagined etc etc etc. This is today's the dev nightmare.
Players have powers that can bombard or empty growth of game through complaints and reviews. its apart of gaming today and its harsh. :)
My suggestion to new game devs is make a solid game and leave it.
happy gaming :)
