The ARK remaster will be coming later than sooner.

Studio Wildcard has announced a delay in the launch of ARK: Survival Ascended until later this year — October 2023 — for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. This decision to delay the survival game was made due to the challenges of working with Unreal Engine 5.2, but also the excitement of pushing the technology further, according to the team. The release of The Island and Scorched Earth will be separated, with Scorched Earth planned for December 2023.

As for the rest of the maps, they will be released in subsequent quarters of 2024. The Early Access price of ARK: Survival Ascended will be $44.99, with a launch discount bringing it to $39.99. Also, the launch content will be adjusted accordingly. Studio Wildcard plans to show gameplay close to the game's launch and has answered questions about the official network shutdown, save file access, server transfers, Early Access duration, release order of content, concept reveals, and creature votes.
