BioWare's James Ohlen Departs To Work On Pen-And-Paper RPG
Following more than two decades at BioWare, James Ohlen has left the company. The former creative director and lead designer for Star Wars: The Old Republic said via Twitter that "I need to take a break from the industry and work on something a little smaller and more personal."
That "something" is Odyssey of the Dragonlords, a hardcover sourcebook for the Fifth Edition of Dungeons & Dragons that draws upon ancient Greek mythology and also features the work of former BioWare developer Jesse Sky.
In addition to his work on SWTOR, Ohlen also worked on the single-player Knights of the Old Republic game, as well as the Dragon Age series and BioWare's upcoming multiplayer game, Anthem. We wish James good luck in his future endeavors!
