Black Desert Mobile Now Has A PC Launcher
This version IS free-to-play.

Black Desert Online is a bit weird when it comes to monetization. That’s because it’s never officially gone free-to-play, but it’s so inexpensive to buy that when it goes on sale, it’s typically being offered for free. Or, they’ll do a free weekend event, and as long as you make it past a certain level, you get to keep the game without paying. But, at the end of the day, it’s still officially a buy-to-play game.
Its mobile counterpart, Black Desert Mobile, however, is not. Like most mobile games, it’s free with microtransactions. Of course, we don’t cover that game because it’s mobile only – until now, that is. Today, Pearl Abyss announced a new update for the mobile MMORPG that includes a PC launcher. The new launcher can be downloaded via the game’s official site.
In addition to the PC launcher, the update adds a new server designed for new and returning players, which likely makes it ideal for those who might give the game a go now that it’s on PC. The update also includes updates to fishing and several in-game events.
