Broken Ranks Forefathers Eve 2023

Halloween is over, but Forefathers’ Eve has just begun.

A new event has started today at 6 PM (CET) in Broken Ranks, drawing inspiration from Slavic folklore. It only lasts for 30 though. This event involves players encountering penitent spirits in various locations throughout the world. Their task is to provide these spirits with items related to the misdeeds they committed in life, offering them a resolution to their eternal wandering.

Players of the turn-based MMORPG can look forward to a short but intense event with abundant rewards, including gold, boss entry items, various currencies, and experience points. The event also introduces champions that spawn periodically, offering additional prizes.

Forefathers’ Eve is divided into several level ranges to better match character levels, and Whitemoon Games has made several improvements based on player feedback from the previous year. Changes include the addition of an NPC called Lyrist, who rewards players for unexchanged items, an increase in the number of mobs in underpopulated areas, and a new mechanic rewarding all party members for defeating elite mobs.

In addition to the event, there is now a multilanguage patch that allows players to freely switch between supported languages. The German, French, Portuguese, and English servers were made into a single international server too, in preparation for the mobile version of Broken Ranks — which recently completed its first closed tests.
