Build A PvP Arena Right In Your Castle In V Rising's 1.1 Update, And That's Not All That's Coming
To date, V Rising really hasn't had a "consequence free" way to PvP. Soon it'll have 2 options.
Now that V Rising has released and then found its way over to PlayStation, it's time to start looking forward and determining where the vampire survival game will go from here. The team at Stunlock Studios finally hopped back into the public to talk about what patch 1.1 will look like and what the team is working on.
First up, random loot. While this is kind of a no brainer thing for MMORPG players, it was actually a "new" feature in V Rising after launch. While many loved it, some players after certain combinations of items and stats found the process disappointing. Stunlock will be adding a "Fusion Forge" system to compromise as they don't want to make loot pre-determined again. The forge will allow players to customize stats on items, so even if you don't get the exact drop you want, you can make it the exact drop you want.
PvP is getting a lot of attention. Right now, PvP has consequences everywhere. It's hard to test builds when you'll have things like durability loss and other penalties. Patch 1.1 will introduce not one, but two ways to murder other vampires without having to worry about the open world PvP consequences. First, dueling, that's pretty basic. What's a bit more unique is the second addition coming: Arenas.
This actually means setting up arenas in your castles and setting up rules and teams. It seems really customizable and should be pretty neat.
Vardoran is also being expanded with a new region and faction.
While these additions can change or update between now and the patch's unknown launch date, it's all worth taking a look at for fans.
